History & About Us

Cool Springs Baptist Church is committed to furthering the cause of Christ and spreading the Gospel to people from all ages and walks of life. One of the goals of Cool Springs is to promote our vision, which is upward (worship), inward (nurture the body) and outward (reaching out beyond the body).

We believe strongly in sharing the hope, peace, purpose, and life of Jesus Christ as described in the Bible. It’s one of our defining purposes, based on the command of Jesus Christ Himself in Matthew 28:16-20.

We are part of a ministry of thousands of churches across North America working together as part of the Southern Baptist Convention.

We’re also involved in meeting needs of hurting people locally, nationally, and internationally—including everything from local church food pantries to staffing the nation’s third-largest volunteer disaster relief organization. It’s a natural expression of God’s profound love for us.None of this is exclusive to Southern Baptists, of course. We work hand-in-hand with other evangelical Christians and churches across the U.S. and around the world
